Support Center
Support is the clarification and help lane. Use it when the next portal path is unclear, access help is needed, or Dingfelder support needs to route an item to the correct owner. Live work and quote requests stay under Operations. Retained files, evidence, SOPs, and history belong under V.A.U.L.T.
Support should prevent confusion without becoming a loose file cabinet, quote lane, work-order lane, or historical archive.
1. Access help
Use Support for login, approval, role, permission, or portal access questions.
2. Lane clarification
Use Support when a user is unsure whether the item belongs in Operations, V.A.U.L.T., Training, or CI.
3. Response bridge
Dingfelder support can clarify details, request missing information, and point the user to the correct controlled path.
4. Clean handoff
When the issue becomes work, a quote, evidence, or history, it moves to the correct governed lane.
I need something fixed, checked, reviewed, or supported.
Start with Work Requests under Operations so the live need is tracked as action, not buried in a support message.
I need pricing, scope, parts, retrofit work, or planned service quoted.
Start with Quote Requests so estimate scope, assumptions, and approvals stay separated from work execution.
I need to upload photos, files, PM records, or closeout support.
Use V.A.U.L.T. Upload Intake so supporting material enters the governed record path.
I need retained documents, references, SOPs, or history.
Use V.A.U.L.T. Document Lane so retained files remain inside the source-of-truth umbrella.
Support routing guide
Use Support when the correct path is not obvious. Once the lane is known, the item should move into the proper controlled area.
